The Hesitations are a very simple 'slow dance' step, and are the foundation for an easy, elegant wedding dance.
If you want to keep things simple, use the Hesitations as the basis for your dance and add more dramatic steps like turns and dips around them. Our first Wedding Dance Demo is based on the Hesitations.

Hesitations
This step is not meant to go anywhere, but it will look a lot better if you rotate it slightly. You can turn it in either direction, but our advice is that it will probably feel more natural turning to the right.
The Hesitations are a perfect step to start any dance with, so that you both feel confident that you are not going to start with the wrong foot.
