STEP DEMO
The Turning Basic allows you to turn your Cha Cha to the left, which makes the dance more interesting for both the dancers and anyone who might be watching.

DO IT ON THE FLOOR
Turning Basic
The Turning Basic is the only step in our Cha Cha syllabus that allows you to change the direction of the dance. It is a really good step, therefore, to mix things up and keep your view of the room fresh. On the other hand, hopefully you're so mesmerized by your partner that the room doesn't matter anyway!
Remember that you should try not to turn on the chasse part of the step. This means that all of the turn happens on the rock part of the step.
Suggested Combination: Cha Cha Basic, Turning Basic, Cha Cha Basic.
DO IT WITH STYLE
Video 1: Standing up straight will always look better than slouching.
